You are watching: Massey ferguson 35 hydraulic filter location

Just been given the job to sort out some slow hydraulics on a Massey Ferguson 35. Drained the oil (nice and creamy!). Then looked in the usual place for the hydraulic filter. There seems to be nothing at all, not even a filter assembly to hold the hydraulic filter. I have cleaned and changed these filters a few times so i know where to look and what to expect however this has puzzled me. Does anyone know anything that would help?Ive looked at various hydraulic pumps new but all of them have the filter assembly.Let me know if you can helpThanks

I think you can run a five gal pail of diesel fuel through that system and be good to go.if I,m not mistaken your filter is inside the rear end.sounds like you need new rubber boots on the shift levers.I have to flush mine pretty soon.135 massey. That boot system is not the best for keeping out water.good luck with it.
