Yep... Did a search and found nil.Where is the factory fuel filter on the R18? I"m approaching 87k and probably would hurt replacing it... It"s past due.

I do believe that it is iin the fuel tank with the fuel pump... If that is correct, and if you feel like dropping your gas tank. Have fun...

It"s bundled with the fuel pump, pressure regulator, and fuel level sending unit in the gas tank. There is an access panel in the trunk in the middle of the floor right behind the rear seats (that"s where it"s located in my sedan), I think you can just lift the in-tank assembly right out through it without dropping the tank. I believe you have to replace the entire in-tank unit (pump, filter, regulator, and sending unit); my local dealer told me you can"t just replace the filter and that it"s suppose to last the life of the vehicle. Mine currently has 256,000 miles on it, and I haven"t had any problems.

Wow. Well my gas mileage has gone down recently and Just wanted to change it as a precaution... but n/m i guess.
Wow. I should probably change mine. I"m at 1.1 million miles on the factory pump and filter screen. I just had a very noticeable drop in power and the filter and pump are next on my diagnostic list. I"ll post a picture of the filter when I get around to pulling the pump assembly.
A. You"re not new. You"ve been here far too long, just like the rest of us. Don"t kid yourself. 2. Here.

You don"t need to drop the tank on a 8th gen Civic. You access the fuel pump unit threw an access hatch in the trunk behind the rear seat
