I to be looking in the hand-operated today and listed that the auto transmission only holds a few quarts. Is that possible? My GMC Yukon hosted several time that. Have any of you verified this? It just seems so little that overheating would be a big problem. Likewise does it have a tranny fluid cooler like many tow vehicles?ThanksDon

On web page 386 of the 2003 Owners hands-on it says that drain and refill volume is 2.1 quarts. I wonder if yours is a various year than mine?Don
The manual is wrong. Drain and Fill is because that the pan only, anyone who has actually done it to know it takes about 4qts. A complete flush and dry to fill takes around 15qts.

I park my "02 on mine inclined driveway, with the rear finish on the lower part, and also since the trans drainpipe plug is close to the rear of the pan I gain 4.5 quarts out. That may be due to some fluid in the present to/from the cooler draining ago into the infectious diseases worldwide pan also.

Does anyone understand if its feasible to use TRANSYND or any type of other comparable longer life trans fluid? I understand that in large trucks through the Allison Tranny they currently specify TEs295 fluid and also it large a long time
I park my "02 on mine inclined driveway, through the rear end on the lower part, and also since the trans drainpipe plug is near the behind of the pan I gain 4.5 quarts out. That may be due to some fluid in the lines to/from the cooler draining earlier into the infectious diseases world fashion pan also.
